Produced by CZAR (NL), directed by Koen Mortier and DOP by Jo. The stunts required some muscle power from Hammy de Beukelaer’s team.

We shot with the Phantom at speeds ranging from 150 to 500 frames per second. No after effects used except for cleaning up cable work and final grading. All special effects were done “on set”.

The American remake of the most successful Belgian movie in history. All outdoor scenes were shot in New Orleans, Louisiana and most interiors in the Videohouse studios in Vilvoorde, Belgium. The Loft is based on the same scenario as the original Loft and will be released in march 2012.

Loft most successful Belgian movie ever

As of today Loft broke the 19 year old record of most filmgoers in Belgian cinemas. It is now the most successful Belgian movie ever with over 1.082.480 visitors! It doens’t stop here because the movie is still running in over 40 Belgian cinemas.
